Ashton Centre

The Ashton Centre is a purpose built building with sleeping accommodation for a maximum of 43 people. It is possible to arrange for other people to camp near to the Centre. Camp fees are payable for numbers above 43. Outside the Centre there is a grass area which is for exclusive use of the users of the Centre. Please note that camping or pitching of tents is not normally permitted on this area but if you have a burning need, please talk to us.
Dormitories
This building has sleeping accommodation for 43 people. There are five dormitories each with 8 bunks. There is also a dormitory for disabled users with 3 beds and en-suite shower room. All the dormitories are carpeted. All the bunks are complete with mattresses. Personal bedding is not supplied, all users must bring their own pillows and pillowcases, plus sleeping bags (or blankets and sheets).
Activity Room / Dining Area
This is a reasonably sized carpeted room (25ft by 25ft) with chairs and tables. A large Television and DVD/VCR video player are provided, also a large wall mounted dry wipe board.

Kitchen
The large kitchen is fully equipped with sinks, commercial oven with a six-burner hob, microwave oven, toaster, freezer, refrigerator, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery for 50 people. There is a serving hatch between the Kitchen and Dining Area. Tea towels and cleaning fluids are not provided.
Toilets / Washing Facilities
The Centre has four toilets, ladies and gents washrooms and two showers. The disabled friendly room has en-suite toilet and shower.
Drying Room
A small drying area is also available in the centre.
Services
There is ample hot and cold water, electricity and heating provided.
Health and Safety
There are night lights, emergency lighting, fire alarm system and emergency exits. An electronic fly catcher and hand dryer are provided in the Kitchen.
Charges
Please see the charges for 2023, or 2024 for full details, there are no hidden extras, all electricity, gas and heating are included in the price.
